Helpful photo tips & tricks!
All artwork is drawn by hand or painted using the highest quality materials. Although I specialise in pet portraits, I also do wildlife commissions and other pieces too, which make great alternatives for those who don't have their own pet or would prefer family pieces. I work in black and white graphite pencil, coloured pencil, watercolour and acrylic.
Deciding on the picture…
I work from photos to create your commission piece. High quality photos are recommended with good lighting. Try to choose an image that you feel best captures the personality of whoever you'd like illustrated.
Canvas Acrylic Paintings
Long lasting and no need for a frame! For a stand out piece that's personal and bold. I am happy to work on smaller and larger canvases but please check the availability with me if there are specific measurements you require. The aim is to create the perfect piece for you!
Artwork is properly packaged and wrapped for protection and always sent 1st class.
A £30 deposit is required for all commissions in order to book and confirm your space with me.
Photo Services
For those who live locally to me I can now offer photographic services. These are perfect for anyone who would like a pet commission but aren't sure on which photos to use or are struggling to capture an image which best suits their pet. For just an additional £10-20, we can simply arrange to meet where I will take a few snaps of your beloved pet. I'll send you the images after for you to keep (via email for example), free of charge, where you can then decide on your favourite photograph for me to draw or paint.

Deciding on the medium …
Once you've chosen the picture you want, think about the medium. What style would you like and what sort of size? All the mediums I work in create a completely different outcome so it's worth thinking about how you'd like your picture best represented.
